    Supply Chain Execution
    Really good and timely ...

This area pools together competences gathered from many consulting and development projects in logistics with the SAP Suite. The main focus is on procurement processes, intralogistics and handling processes using SAP ERP and SAP EWM. Intralogistics processes in the automotive and consumer goods sector remain the focus of our work, which we also support with our product family alogis-PAXolution and alogis-JIXolution.

The competences of the Supply Chain Execution division are in the following industries and topic areas:

    Commissioning processes

The interplay between customer and supplier or logistics service provider is determined by the contractual arrangement and type of communication, which can sometimes result in very different logistical and IT technical requirements. We have worked on projects in the following topics, among others.

    Scheduling agreement processing

    • Delivery forecasts, daily call-offs and planning delivery schedules
    • EDI messages (VDA4905, VDA4913, VDA4915, VDA4916, VDA4921)
    • Cumulative quantities
    • Problem issues at the turn of the year
    • Tolerance checking of call-off fluctuations

    JIS/JIT processing/production supply

    • JIT/JIS call-offs (MAB, PAB, sPAB)
    • JIT/JIS with SAP EWM and SAP HCP
    • Planned sequences
    • Sequencing with sequence master data
    • 100% parts groups; missing parts processing; subsequent delivery
    • Part by part
    • Connection of external JIT/JIS systems to SAP ERP

    Replacement part logistics

    • Processes for coded parts
    • Multi-warehousing
    • Complaints handling
    • Campaign - special offers for certain parts at different periods
    • Dealer buy back - buy back from customers
    • Local parts processes
    • Monitoring for customers
    Goods receipt processing

    Goods receipt processing

In most companies, goods receipt is not just confined to a simple check and receipt of the delivered goods. Most of the time, upstream and downstream processes and their mapping in the systems determine how complex the processing is. The key points below clearly show this.

    Yard management

    • Manage container yard
    • Call-off of containers to goods receipt
    • Documentation of container movements

    Goods receipt

    • 2-stage goods receipt
    • Consolidated transportation services (Bordero)
    • Cross-dock processing
    • Bypass processing
    • Packing and repacking in goods receipt
    • Creating supplier labels VDA4902, VDA4913
    • EDI advice note (ANSI, EDIFACT, VDA, Odette)
    Warehouse and inventory management

    Warehouse and inventory management

Warehouse technology now includes much more than just shelves and conveyor belts. The high degree of automation in controlling the movement of goods, increased handling speeds and the detailed maintenance of material or container inventories all require sophisticated system support. In addition to actual storage and movement, value-add areas are increasingly being generated in the warehouse.

    Warehouse control/inventory management

    • Stock-in and stock-out strategies
    • Inventories managed by production numbers
    • Fork-lift control
    • Push/pull warehousing
    • Serial number management
    • Replenishment of supplies (minimum stock level, Kanban)
    • Automated warehouse connection (KLT - small load carriers, GLT - large load carriers, conveyor belts)
    • Value-added services (KIT formation, etching)

    Picking

    • Goods to man, man to goods
    • 1 to 2-stage picking
    • Pick from multi-stage HUs
    • Integration of WM in JIT-inbound
    • Sequence module with sequence master data
    • Use of mobile scanners
    • Multi-stage container formation

    Empties processing

    • Inventory management of full and empty containers
    • Empties accounts
    • Repair and cleaning processes Warehouse accounting
    • Transfer to FI system
    • Analyse warehouse movements to invoice for services
    • Assess warehouse movements and inventories
    Dispatch and factoring

    Dispatch and factoring

The diversity of logistical requirements does not stop at dispatch and in accounting. All the complexities of upstream processes and additional requirements turn up again in this area.

    Packing/labelling

    • Packing on packing tables (with or without an order reference)
    • Handling-unit management
    • Creation of VDA supplier labels VDA4902

    Handling/supply

    • Transport formation
    • EDI advice note (ANSI, EDIFACT, VDA, Odette)
    • Loading (stuffing, optimisation of volumes, and weight distribution)
    • Goods issue posting
    • Supply of customs interfaces
    • Creation of loading documents

    Part-by-part supply from plants abroad

    • Loading of vehicle parts according to installation site
    • Control by calendar week

    CKD processing

    • Loading of vehicle parts in sets
    • Exploded bill of materials for vehicles

    Invoices/credit note procedures

    • Creating billing documents for services and materials
    • Alignment with customer credit notes
    • Transfer to external FI systems
    • Daily delivery note as a basis for accounting

    Industries

In order to be able to analyse processes in close collaboration with the customer, recognise optimisation potential and use it through software support, knowledge of terms and special features in the relevant industry is essential. We have gained extensive knowledge and varied experience from projects in the following industries.

    • Automotive (supplier, OEM)
    • Consumer goods, non-food
    • External logistics service providers (EDL)
    • Supplier logistics centres (LLZ)
    • Distribution centres
